Health Warranty
-
This is a binding contract with the purpose to protect the Seller, the Buyer and the puppy.
-
The Seller warranties that the puppy is in good health and has received appropriate medical inoculations (vaccines) and care and deworming. Seller will provide Buyer with a medical chart detailing treatment the puppy has received under the Seller’s care. Seller also provides a 24-month health warranty against testable, debilitating congenital defects.
-
The Health Warranty is as follows:
-
SoDel Doodles guarantees the puppy is in good health, is up to date on immunizations appropriate for the puppy’s age and has had appropriate de-worming at the time the Buyer takes possession. The Seller requires that the Buyer take the puppy to a veterinarian within the first three (3) business days after taking delivery of puppy. If upon examination the veterinarian finds that said puppy is not in good health, the Buyer must notify the Seller within 24 hours. The Seller reserves the right to a second veterinarian opinion at the expense of the Seller. The Buyer shall return the puppy to the Seller with all the veterinarian documentations for a refund of the full purchase price. The Seller has no obligation to reimburse the Buyer for any costs incurred, including vet bills, food bills, travel, or any paraphernalia bought for the puppy.
-
This warranty does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, parasites, urinary tract infections, Giardia or Coccidiosis. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals or physical injury. And it does not include final adult weight, color, coat type or show potential.
-
SoDel Doodles provides this warranty for 24 months after the date of sale against any testable, debilitating, congenital diseases except joint problems. In the event the puppy exhibits symptoms of a suspected testable, congenital defect, except joint problems, the Buyer must supply any requested veterinary records to the Seller.
-
If it is determined the puppy does have a testable, debilitating, congenital disorder, except joint problems, that is identified within 24 months of purchase, Buyer will require all records from diagnosing vet and we will submit those records to our veterinarian. With a matching second opinion diagnosis, the Buyer will be reimbursed the full purchase price of the puppy within 10 business days. Your puppy need not be returned to us. Should you decide to return the puppy to us, shipping fees will not be refunded.
-
If the puppy should die from a suspected, testable, congenital defect within 24 months of its date of purchase, an autopsy must be performed at the purchaser’s expense by a veterinary teaching hospital or state licensed DVM acceptable to SoDel Doodles own veterinarian. If the autopsy shows a congenital defect as the reason or the death, the Seller will a) provide another puppy of equal value to the purchaser OR b) refund the full purchase price of the puppy. A written statement from the veterinarian must be provided. This warranty is void in the event of an indeterminable or inconclusive diagnosis.
-
Warranty only requires Seller to refund up to full purchase price. Seller will never be responsible for veterinary costs, travel expenses, shipping fees, loss of work, travel expenses, etc.
-
Joint problems including hip and elbow dysplasia will NOT be covered in this guarantee. We take care to only breed parents with suitable joint exams and structure, but because joint problems can have both hereditary causes, we are not able to warranty against joint problems (i.e hip dysplasia, carpus joint issues, etc). We ask that you take great care in the feeding and exercising of your puppy.
