Standard Poodle
Standard Poodles are often overlooked by many families when they are searching for a puppy. They've been saddled with a frou-frou sterotype that is so far from the truth it's laughable. While Standard Poodles can be somewhat aloof, they have amazing, even temperaments, gentleness with children, loyalty to their families and more athletic ability than most dogs. They will retrieve your ducks from the pond, jump your obstacles in agility, walk the woods with you on a fall day and snuggle anytime on the couch. They are gentle with infants and can roughhouse with the best 12 year olds. They are loving and loyal and super smart with the added bonus of not leaving hairs on your clothes or furniture. While Standard Poodles do require the most grooming, they look great in a short cut that cuts down on grooming time and keeps them cleaner.
Labradoodle
American Labradoodles are a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. Our Labradoodles are fantastic family dogs with easy temperaments and a loving fun nature. They are super biddable and easy to train. Their coat is looser than a Standard Poodle so the earlier generations can often require a bit less grooming than Standard Poodles, though they will still require regular brushing. The hair that they do lose gets caught in their curls and can cause matting that is painful. Labradoodles have a delightful, playful, friendly energy that benefits from training and consistency. Our labradoodles are amazing family dogs.
Goldendoodle
Goldendoodles are a cross between a golden retreiver and a poodle. Goldendoodles are very popular family dogs and come in all shapes and sizes. Just like poodles and other doodles they have curly coats that require attention to be kept healthy but the benefit is less golden retriever hair all over your clothes and furniture. Goldendoodles make great family dogs and we're excited to welcome our first goldendoodles in 2022.
